Dye Day 2026

We gather in Tucker’s Grove for our annual celebration and joint experimentation into botanical dyes. For those of you who are on the fence or botanical-dye curious, this post is for you. You do not need experience or knowledge to play with us. With the expertise of our volunteer dye pot managers, we make it easy to play with different colors and see how they react to wool, silk, or any natural fiber cloth. This year, we will have pots of indigo, cochineal, mushroom, logwood, and weld.

Remember, volunteering at Dye Day – even for just an hour at the beginning or end of the day to help with set-up or breakdown–guarantees you a spot on August 1.

This is a members only event. If you want to bring a friend, they must sign up and pay Guild membership.
