Become a Member
Membership runs from your registration date through April 30th. A membership donation grants you benefits (listed below!), but not a board member position or vote.
The guild currently has two options for joining.
If you are a student (up to age 25), or are joining between Oct 1st through April 30th, you are eligible for a discounted annual membership fee of $20.
Otherwise, membership is $35 a year.
Benefits of Supporting Membership
Our monthly newsletter, Connecting Threads, which contains information about upcoming meetings and other events of interest, sign-up forms for guild-sponsored workshops, and advertisements for yarns and equipment.
If you own a business, you may post about it at the end of each issue of Connecting Threads in the “Member Vendors” section, and we’ll include you on our website.
Discounts on workshops and bus trips.
Borrowing of guild owned equipment such as a drum carder or spinning wheel.
Access to our private Botanical Dye Day (usually in August each year).
Early access to the Fiber Frenzy and other guild-organized sales.
Display in sponsored exhibits: may include basketry, knitting, spinning, felting, and other fiber-arts.
Scholarship opportunity (financial support for classes or workshops)
Access to a community of fiber artists!
