Happy New Year!2017 ended in kind of a haze.....The smoke and ash from the Thomas Fire resulted in the cancellation of the opening at City Hall featuring a few Fiber Art pieces from our October Show but it has now been rescheduled to the First Thursday of January!  5-7pm.   See you there!Now, back to our regular Monthly Guild Meeting, the first one this year is:Saturday, January 6th 2018:“Travel and Weaving - Linked Delights” With Michael F. Rohde Location: Valle Verde, 900 Calle de los Amigos, SBMichael F. Rohde loves both weaving and travel. Each often influences the other: leaving home and experiencing other cultures inspires his imagination; his love of weaving can lead him to seek out travel related to that love. In the lecture he will show images and a few recent tapestries of his that started with travel photos.
