Our annual member show, LAYERING, at Art and Soul Gallery (1323 State Street, Santa Barbara) opens on January 8, 2026 and runs through February 1, 2026.

This year’s exhibition celebrates the richness and innovation of fiber arts through the theme Layering. Guild members interpret the concept through material, process, meaning, and technique—revealing how layers can inform both structure and storytelling.

Featuring works by 50+ member artists, the exhibit showcases a wide spectrum of fiber-based media. The exhibition will also include workshops and live spinning and weaving demonstrations, along with hands-on opportunities for visitors to experience these techniques firsthand.
